The industry leading innovators demonstated new technologies in driving transition to 4K IP-based broadcast and production

Evertz IP SDVN Sony video over IP

Asia Pacific – At IBC 2015, Sony has announced progress of IP interoperability as part of its continuing collaboration to integrate Evertz Software Defined Video Networking (SDVN) solution and Sony’s IP Live Production System.

The industry leading IP innovators demonstrated the seamless integration of these technologies in each other’s IBC booths, Evertz #3.C20 in Hall 3 and Sony #12.A10 in Hall 12 of RAI Amsterdam. Each demonstration included Sony’s IP Live Production System and the Evertz SDVN system.  As the latest outstanding development, Evertz’s high-capacity switch fabrics, including EXE and 3080-IPX, is being leveraged as the routing core of Sony IP Live Production System Network. This development allows both companies to deliver a comprehensive solution for live production environments.
