London, UK—For the first time, Ncam’s real-time camera tracking technology will be showcased at Broadcast India 2015. Ncam offers broadcasters a ground-breaking solution for virtual and augmented reality without limits and will be exhibited at the Vitec Group stand.
By using a lightweight sensor bar that attaches to the camera, Ncam’s Live 7D can track natural markers in the environment, allowing the camera to move freely at all times in any location. The multi-sensor device generates a continuous stream of extremely precise positional information that can feed all industry-standard graphics engines. The Live 7D is also incredibly flexible, permitting any camera rig to be outfitted with its sensor bar. For example, it has already been successfully deployed on a Spidercam to produce immersive graphics for the Indian Premier League, as well as the popular Monday Night Football program in the United States.
