Paris, France/Florida, USA/Singapore—ATEME has announced that Aldea Solutions Inc., the premier provider of high-quality video networking services has chosen the Kyrion CM5000 encoders to stream the Pan American Games to their customers throughout the Americas.
The Kyrion encoder has been designed for low latency streaming over fibre, OTT and satellite networks, with ultra-fast-boot, main screen and ABR outputs and integrated Automatic Repeat reQuest (ARQ). It is based on ATEME’s 5th Generation STREAM compression engine, which delivers the highest video quality at minimum bitrates using ultra-low latency. The Kyrion CM5000 is a future-proof solution, with an HEVC software upgradeable option.
