This is the last of the interview series with Zainir Aminullah, Chief Executive Officer, Ideate Media.

For South East Asia, I haven’t seen a real trend of local-scripted content having international appeal on a sustainable basis. This is a function of two factors— budget and story sensibility. The participation of foreign producers in coming to shoot in SEA or participating in co-production in the long run will have a positive impact, but I believe the pace should be faster.
