What makes Asia different from other markets? How would you describe the level of business here in Asia?

Asian market alone is very large and significant but not many films get larger audience outside Asia. The market is also fragmented, and it is not easy to talk about one Asian movie market, for example Indian, Singaporean and Chinese markets are very different.

 

What are the new and exciting things happening in the Asian film industry at the moment? What challenges do Asian filmmakers face in terms of competing with Hollywood?
