Hertfordshire, UK – ATG Danmon announces a major addition to its management team with the appointment of Jonathan Hughes as Head of Systems Integration. He joins from Gearhouse Broadcast.
Jonathan originally studied at Ravensbourne College of Technology and Design, achieving an HND in Digital Broadcast Engineering. He began his broadcast industry career at London-based MTV Broadcast Services as a Junior Engineer, advancing to Facilities Engineering Supervisor. In 2008 he joined Gearhouse Broadcast as a Proposal/Systems Engineer and progressed to Head of Systems Integration.
“Jonathan has an excellent understanding of tapeless technology, file-based workflow and digital content management, including practical experience across a wide range of vendors offering hardware and software for the broadcast and third-party transmission service sector,” says ATG Danmon Managing Director Christoffer Kay. “He also understands the ATG Danmon strategy of providing cost-efficient solutions which exactly match the customer’s needs in regards to functionality, flexibility and budget, while ensuring easy expansion to match increased business demand and evolving technical standards.”
“This is a very busy and exciting time to be joining ATG Danmon,” Jonathan Hughes comments. “I look forward to working alongside Project Manager Dave Whitaker and the entire UK-based team as well as our colleagues in Denmark, Dubai, Spain and Vietnam, to ensure that we maintain the high technical standards for which ATG Danmon and its parent group are respected in the UK and across the globe.”
