“It’s truly an honour for me to receive this award, especially because it’s the very first award of its kind in Asia Pacific,” Magsaysay said in an interview after accepting her award. “This is going to help put Optima Digital on the map. For us, to even be nominated for the Apollo Awards was a big honour. We really look up to the way the Apollo Awards gave importance to excellence in technology in this industry.”

Recalling the challenges of working on the Clean Air Asia two-minute campaign video, which she graded on DaVinci Resolve at the Manila-based post house, Magsaysay shared, “Stylist was shot with a DSLR, which was a challenge. I had to come up with a different colour grading style to give it a ‘filmic’ look. If you watch it, it’s comprised of different vignettes and the challenge was to create a different colour for each vignette and make it look unified.”
