Sydney – Magna Systems and Engineering announced Southern Cross Austereo has placed an order for three Miranda Vertigo XG graphics engines and two XMS servers.

Southern Cross Austereo is the creator of more hours of live content than any other broadcast media in Australia and can connect with 95 percent of Australians each week via their regional free-to-air TV networks, national radio networks, online, mobile and one off events.

Magna Systems and Engineering’s Group Sales Manager Stephen Clemesha said, “Southern Cross Austereo wanted a new look for their graphics. With over 30 news breaks per day they needed a system that would be powerful, flexible and easy to use. After a comprehensive assessment and evaluation process they chose Miranda’s Vertigo because of its fresh look and efficient workflow.”
