Singapore – Canon today launched the full-frame EOS 6D, equipped with a 20.2-megapixel 35mm CMOS sensor with a precise 11-point AF system. Currently the lightest DSLR camera in the market (with the magnesium alloy body weighing 680 grams), the 6D is also the first EOS camera with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS support.
“[More consumers] are recognizing the benefits of having a full-frame sensor, which capable of producing images with shallower depth of field, more details and less noise,” said Andrew Koh, Senior Director and General Manager of the Consumer Imaging and Information Products Group, Canon Singapore.
