Directed by Steven Sheil and written by him and Ziad Semaan, Dead Mine puts a different spin to the action-horror genre.

Mike Wiluan, CEO of Infinite Studios, and Dead Mine’s Executive Producer and Producer, said: “There are just too many zombie movies out there (now); and I think everyone is trying to make a new spin on the zombie movie genre, whether or not it is a comedy or it’s a very blatant in-your-face horror film.”

Wiluan said they needed to differentiate their creatures, as opposed to just some undead characters who just wanted to eat human flesh. “From the onset, it’s something that we wanted to make up, different from what’s already been done out there. From the story telling, it makes sense. There’s a reason why these people are like these.”
