This year’s CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia, held June 19 – 22, attracted more than 49,000 industry visitors, exhibitors, conference speakers and delegates from around the world.
One of the special highlights this year for BroadcastAsia is the OTT (over-the-top) service, which is aimed at addressing the delivery of content and reaching out to a new generation of audiences. The OTT feature area at BroadcastAsia2012 became one of the main attractions of the exhibition, with a huge number of visitors stopping to catch a glimpse of the Euro 2012 on various platforms including TV, laptop, tablet and mobile phone. BroadcastAsia2012 also featured a Cinematography/Film/Production zone, which drew packed audiences keen to see and learn about the latest motion picture tools and software.
