Matrox Graphics Inc. has released the 2.01 driver for its Mura MPX Series video wall controller boards, enhancing their current functionalities and adding compatibility with other Matrox multi-display solutions. This enables Mura output/input boards to be used in conjunction with the newly released Mura MPX-SDI and MPX-V16 and MPX-V8 analog capture SKUs as well as the Matrox Streaming Media Decoder (SMD-2) Series cards. With the 2.01 driver, Mura boards now can support up to 58 DVI-SL or RGB outputs.
The Mura board has four outputs and either four, two, or zero input channels on each board. It is the first PCI Express x16 Gen2 board class with both HDresolution outputs and inputs. The 2.01 driver enables Mura boards to now have maximum configurations of 14 MPX-4/4 four-output/four-input boards with 2 MPX-V16s (56 outputs and 32 analog SD captures); 14 MPX- 4/4 with 1 two-output MPX-SDI and 1 MPX-V16 (58 outputs and 34 analog SD captures); or 10 MPX- 4/4 with 6 MPX-V16s (40 outputs and 96 analog SD captures).
