Seoul – In conjunction with the first anniversary of Discovery Channel Korea, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) today announced the launch of First Time Filmmakers (FTFM) Korea, a project designed to help develop and support the documentary storytelling skills of Korean filmmakers. Discovery Channel was first introduced in South Korea in 1994 but began a 24-hour localised feed in partnership with Korea’s Central Multi Broadcasting (CMB) last year.

FTFM Korea is targeted at providing Korean filmmakers with the opportunity to showcase their talent and gain recognition on an international level, through hands-on training and professional development from award-winning producers from Discovery Channel.
