Wild Asia calls for entries for Seed Grants project

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Wild Asia, a social enterprise based in Kuala Lumpur working to support environmental and social initiatives in Asia, is calling for entries to its developmental effort known as Seed Grants. Seed Grants provides financial support (approximaely US$1,000) to projects/initiatives that are making sustainability real for communities and support the protection of natural areas. Wild Asia’s involvement with the Eco Film Festival has seen the extension of Seed Grants to include the creative industry as a medium to drive change, and encourage creative talents to help boost the environmental and conservation avenue. Film and multimedia can be a highly effective channel to spread the environmental and social awareness message. The closing date for Seed Grants 2009 application is on the 31st July 2009.
