Tokyo – Toei Animation Co., Ltd. will participate in the Dubai International Character & Licensing Fair with their entire catalogue of animated series. “We are very excited to present our animated series during this event,” said Kanji Kazahaya, Toei Animation’s international department director. “We believe that we will enhance our presence and develop our new business through this event and there is big potential in the Middle Eastern market.” Toei Animation will present Dragon Ball, One Piece, Pretty Cure series, and the Digimon series, among other properties from their extensive programme line-up. The Dubai Character and Licensing Fair (DCLF) is the first international festival of its kind in the UAE and in the entire Middle East. This international event is expected to attract over 250 international and regional companies and 10 thousand businessmen, traders and specialists from around the world. DCLF 2008 will focus on international cartoon character animations, technical, cultural, educational, move, entertainments, games, information technology, multimedia, and arts. The event is jointly organised by INDEX Holding and Dubai Convention Bureau of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. DCLF 2008 is held in UAE from 28-30 October.
