Philippines – Optima Digital, Manila-based post production house has enhanced its post production capabilities with a new da Vinci Resolve RT system, and the Bones feature upgrade to its Spirit Datacine as well as Autodesk 2008 upgrades to the Flame, Inferno and Smoke suites for Linux. With the da Vinci Resolve RT system, Optima Digital is equipped to perform multi-layer non-linear grading as well as grading “in-context”. The latter feature allows scenes to be matched within the edit without compromising on speed and quality. The new Bones feature is able to store the film’s colour and latitude and allows the Spirit Datacine to scan 2K data for non-linear grading in Resolve. 2008 upgrades to the Autodesk Flame, Inferno and Smoke for Linux allows for faster and easier collaboration among workstations, and make the suites compatible for HD and 2K workflows.
